Lanas Lil Learners

AN NATURAL, MONTESSORI-INSPIRED, CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT

montessori-inspired

We believe that Maria Montessori has such a wonderful philosophy about how children learn, explore, and develop. Children learn to speak by interacting with other people speaking to them. If we do not give them our time, they will not have the opportunity to learn language.

healthy, natural food

We want to offer high-quality and superior care to your child by offering a balanced, homemade natural diet, free from genetically modified ingredients, dyes, MSG, artificial ingredients, and preservatives.

free play

We believe children should be able to run around and explore nature in the backyard, play in the sand, build Playdoh creations, etc. We have set up our home with activities that are educational, functional, and even practical.

Our Mission

WE ARE ALWAYS IMPROVING, STUDYING, LEARNING

Lana’s Lil’ Learners seeks to provide an natural, Christian, Montessori environment.

The environment that your child spends his/her time in influences the child’s future development. The first five years of a child’s life paves the way for future learning. This is precisely why choosing the right daycare for your child is very important! There are peak times in a child’s development where they are more keen to learning specific skills. It requires an adult to be tentative and observant to the child and recognize which activities the child is showing an interest in. Young children are capable of more than what we give them credit for, or even opportunities to learn and grow.

THINGS TO DO

Kid

Repetitive training is the key to successfully learning motor skills. We have activities that are educational, functional, and even practical. We love watching little ones grow and develop! We love teaching and providing opportunities for their growth and development, as well.

Dreaming

A Beka Book is comprehensive, quality curriculum written from a Christian perspective with methods that work. Each child needs a strong foundation in both academics and character, and they can achieve that academic excellence and moral character through A Beka Book.

Girl

Yoga is great for kids. It improves their flexibility, strength, coordination, and concentration while giving them a sense of calmness and relaxation. It is a great way to teach self-control and discipline. Children need a quiet place just like adults, and yoga can help give them that.

Kid

Reading promotes academic excellence, basic speech skills, communication skills, logical thinking, concentration, self-discipline, imagination, and a love of learning. Many studies have shown that strong oral language skills are the basis for literacy development.

Dreaming

Naps are an important part of a child’s health. They can have a positive impact on their learning and development. Crucial development, both physically and mentally, happens in early childhood, and naps can provide the downtime needed for growth and rejuvenation. Children who nap have longer attention spans and are in better moods than those who are not napping.
